דני נייפלד נולד בשנת 1953 בפתח תקווה. התחנך בפנימייה החקלאית בכפר הירוק. שירת בנח"ל ובצנחנים. ממקימי קיבוץ אפיק ברמת הגולן. בעל תואר בביולוגיה והיסטוריה יהודית. עוסק ביזמות בתחום הגנת הצומח וחקלאות המים. כחלק מעיסוקו נוסע לעתים קרובות למקומות שונים בעולם. מסעותיו משמשים לו השראה לכתיבתו. כיום מתגורר בפרדס חנה, לאחר שנים רבות בגולן. נשוי ואב לשניים.

"דיכוטומיה של תודעה" מכיל שירים חדשים שלו, ולאחריהם שירים באנגלית אותם כתב בשנת 1991 בעת ששהה באוסטרליה. 

 

Dani Neifeld was born in 1953 in Petah Tikva. He received education in the agricultural boarding school in the Kfar HaYarok. He served in the Nachal and Paratroops brigades. He was one of the founders of Afik Kibbutz in the Golan Hights. He has B.Sc. degree in Biology and Jewish History. He works in entrepreneurship in the fields of Plant-Protection and Aquaculture. As a part of his work he often goes to a variety of places around the world. His journeys serve him as inspiration to his writing. Today he lives in Pardes Hanna, following years in the Golan. He is married and a father of two.

 

His previous books: "Trails of Fire" Yaron Golan 1995; "Hoshen Earrings" Yaron Golan 2010; "Dreaming to Dance" Bitaon Shira 2016. Poems and short stories of his were published in "Shdemot" magazine of the Kibbutz Movement. His poems were published in Bitaon Shira magazine. 

 

"Dichotomy of Consciousness" contains new poems, followed by poems in English that he wrote in 1991, while he resided in Australia.
